In 2019, S.Pellegrino celebrated its first 120 years! We are honoured to have been part of your best moments, and grateful to you for being part of ours.

Anniversary Edition bottle

As a tribute to this very special occasion, in 2019 S.Pellegrino presented the 120 Years Anniversary Limited Edition bottle. A stunning version of S.Pellegrino’s glass Vichy bottle was created, with diamond-shaped rivets rising directly from the surface. Multifaceted, pure and meant to last forever, diamonds capture the essence of your best moments in life. These diamond-shaped bottles accompanied some of the most exclusive S.Pellegrino events during the 120th Anniversary celebrations. Another limited-edition bottle featuring a silver-lined 120 Year Anniversary label was produced to grace the tables of the best restaurants around the world, making your fine dining moment even more special.

Young talent anniversary project

As part of the 120th Anniversary celebrations, S.Pellegrino entered into a unique collaboration with the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). A group of talented IED students was asked to create a series of artworks illustrating the brand's 120-year history.
Their objective was to depict the themes that have come to define S.Pellegrino over the years, from its iconic bottle and bubbles to the fine food experiences it accompanies, as well as its core values: beauty, flair, passion, authenticity and togetherness. 

Celebrating in sparkling style

The 120th anniversary celebrations began in Milan with a glamorous evening event in collaboration with the National Chamber for Italian Fashion, in the splendid location of the Palazzo Reale. There, S.Pellegrino staged a spectacular dinner animated by beautiful handcrafted installations representing iconic moments in the brand’s history, culminating in the unveiling of the limited edition bottle. The anniversary bottle then embarked on a worldwide journey, appearing at the most important events in gastronomy, cinema, and fashion.

120th anniversary interviews

After 120 years spent accompanying fine dining experiences, we asked some of our favourite people to tell us about their best moments at the table. This is what they said.
Mark Moriarty, winner of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015, reminisces about mackerel and his childhood summers, while the 2018 winner, Yasuhiro Fujio, shares his ideas about connecting people through taste. With three Michelin stars to his name, top Chef Massimo Bottura loves nothing more than sharing meals and creative ideas with his team. Meanwhile, food is up there with fashion and Italy as one of influencer Tamara Kalinic's favourite things.
