Just 200 talented Young Chefs will proceed to the next level of the competition - that is among the best events of the year- based on their submitted signature dish, judged in ingredients, skills, genius, beauty and message. The Semi-Finalists have been found through a rigorous selection process by ALMA -The International School of Italian Cuisine- of over 3000 applicants from around the world.

The semi-finals of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 will be held in their respective regions from May 1 to August 15. During every event the candidates will cook their signature dish for a jury of local chefs, who will select the winner to face-off at the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 Grand Finale in front of the top jury, where the winner of this year’s edition will be crowned.
