Packaging and the circular economy

The packaging of our mineral water and beverages plays a particularly important role in preserving the quality, safety, flavour, and the unique properties of these products.

All our packaging solutions are designed to be recycled.
For the bottles of our mineral waters and soft drinks we use glass, PET plastic and aluminium: three materials that may be recycled several times over.

Reduce

Down through the years we have focused our efforts on eliminating any form of over packaging, by reducing the use of superfluous raw materials and making our packaging solutions more lightweight. This commitment enables us to limit waste and make a tangible contribution to reducing CO₂eq emissions.

Reducing packaging and increasing recycling

Recycle

All our packaging is designed to be recycled. Over the years, we have also increased the use of recycled materials: recycled plastic (R-PET), glass and aluminium, as well as plastic film and cardboard for secondary packaging, which also contain a percentage of recycled material.
This policy enables us to reduce the use of virgin raw materials, thus contributing to limit the extraction of new natural resources.
Today, on average, our plastic mineral water bottles contain 43% R-PET excluded label and cap.
On the other hand, glass bottles contain on average 60% recycled glass. Our cans contain 77% recycled aluminium. These tangible results are fruit of an on-going dialogue and long-term collaboration with our packaging suppliers.
