Every second weekend of February, Chiang Mai celebrates the flowering of the hills and valleys surrounding the city. The festival lasts three days, and includes events such as the parade of floats that are decorated with fresh flowers, shows, traditional music and the election of the Miss Chiang Mai Flower Festival.
